No post yesterday due to the fact that I was shattered after a 32km walk in blistering heat. Walked out of Lugo nice and early and headed to a delightful place run by a couple of Brits. Great meal last night, helped by the fact that they served the vino tinto from a cellar, not the fridge.

Today was the end of the Primitivo in that it merged with the Frances. What a difference. A handful of hardcore peregrinos are suddenly overwhelmed by hordes of casual walkers. There was a particularly offensive group being showed by a camper van – every few hundred yards the “ultra-lite” Camino walkers checked in for water.
