Here we go again….

Tomorrow I head off to Porto; it’s the jumping off point for those doing the Camino Portugues and don’t want to do the full Lisbon to Santiago trail. I could have flown out today and done another couple of days of walking – however, I was convinced that I would need to be in Twickenham today to watch Northampton Saints win the European Champions Cup. Slightly sad fantasy which came to earth with a bump when Saints were steamrollered by Clermont Ferrand a few weeks ago.

Anyway, here we go again – I start with a rucksack weighing only about two-thirds of the bag I started the Frances walk with. I’m going to walk about 160 miles in 10 days. Real-life, here I come.
