A really short day today of just 15km. But as yesterday, that gave time to enjoy more fully the landscape. The picture below was one of those "Camino" photos; a long dusty track extending into the far distance. Nothing to do or worry about - just one foot after the other until the arrows tell you otherwise.
After a stretch across the fields, there was one last gentle climb and then at the top of the hill one walks through a couple of big boulders to a view extending across to Xunqueira de Ambía.
And the woods on the last stretch were particularly magical. Really glad that there was no need to rush.
Xunqueira de Ambía was a pretty little town and Casa Tomas right in the centre. Nodded to other pilgrims whose faces were becoming more recognisable and looked around the town. The church had a nice Romanesque doorway.
Casa Tomas also introduced me to the concept of Crema de Galicia. Pretty good and certainly more healthy and more effective than a sleeping pill.
