This was a great walk. Slightly longer than yesterday but the distance was ameliorated by the frequency of bar stops. And most importantly, there was a church that was actually open.
First town; Silleda. Beer. Second town; Bandeira. Beer and lunch. Then just time for a quick beer at the legendary Cafe Leiras in Dornelas before heading down yet another steep river bank.
The signs were interesting to say the least. This is clearly a horse-riding Camino but I have never before seen a sign warning of horses heading down hill at speed. I suspect that some riders, having consumed too much beer think that they can do the hill at a gallop.
The end of today's walk was in a modern hotel in Ponte d'Ulla, O'Cruceiro. Nothing special to look at but the welcome was warm and the food was good.
