Breakfast was at the same restaurant as dinner the previous day. And then a 24km walk but downhill. The walk leaves Armenteira down a walk called the route of stone and water. It's an old mill race.

Probably one of the prettiest routes I have ever done. What was fascinating was a little park of stone sculptures, scattered around a small chapel.

After such an uplifting morning, lunch was a bit less spiritual and a bit more alcoholic.

After a simple walk through small villages and fields, I eventually arrived at the coast and an apartment with a sea view. The little black marks in the photo are the big floating platforms in the water where the sea food is farmed.

Dinner was at a little restaurant in the town centre. There was a procession outside that attracted a big crowd.

Dinner of incredibly fresh sea food lasted quite a while and I drank a bit too much of a particularly good vino Tinto. I'm not sure what time I staggered back to the apartment but it was a memorable evening.
